REDLANDS (CBS) — A 44-year-old man was behind bars on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl at his personal training business.

Mauricio Mario Ortiz was arrested Friday after police served search warrants at his home and business on Alabama Street.

The teen alleges that Ortiz sexually assaulted her on Jan. 4, at “Fitness by Mauricio,” according to a news release issued by Redlands P.D.

According to police, Ortiz’s business has previously operated at other locations, including on Citrus Avenue and in Loma Linda.

Police say similar accusations have surfaced from a second victim and investigators believe there may be others.
