And if you're one of those who can't ever decide which facial to get, you can skip that dilemma at the spa, as their facials are all customizable to your skin type. So just book your appointment and they'll decide the best renewal for you based on any signs of dehydration, anti-aging, etc.
The Aqua Terra Spa feels comfortably boutique'ish and the treatment rooms have a bungalow essence to them, which sets the experience apart from more clinical, massive-room spas. Guests will enjoy facial treatments that blend vanilla and ginger oils, gently warmed basalt stones, soothing aromatherapy towels and a facial acupressure point massage. Products include nature-based Epicurean as well as more aggressive lines such as ZO and Priori to stimulate cellular turnover. The spa offers many seasonal accents with their treatments, such as winter Pumpkin Peels and upcoming lush Chocolate Soufflé enhancements to add rich antioxidants for Valentine's Day fun.
After your facial, enjoy the relaxation of the spa's outdoor Jacuzzi, eucalyptus steam room and more. Then shower, gather yourself and make your way to Splashes Restaurant for lunch. Their Executive Chef Jeff Armstrong has created a delightful menu of fresh seaside cuisine. The spa lunch package includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert. The Romaine Heart Caesar is a crisp start. Seared Scallops with farro risotto, cucumber, orange and ginger is a favorite there. And Vegetarians may opt for the Parsnip Ravioli with chili bread crumbs and pecorino. Finally, the Crème Brulee with fresh fruit is a sinful way to finish your meal. Guests may dine on the top floor of the restaurant inside by the fireplace, or go upstairs on the patio or head downstairs with the waves only a few feet away. All options offer panoramic, blue Pacific views.
