Chino Man To Be Arraigned In Hit-And-Run Crash That Killed Bicyclist

POMONA (CBS) — A Chino man is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist.

Gabriel Facio, 44, was killed Wednesday when he was struck at the intersection of Towne Avenue and Sixth Street in Pomona.

Rodger Karcher, 67, turned himself in to police the following day.

Karcher, whose vehicle has damage that matched evidence at the crash scene, is scheduled to be arraigned on a felony count of leaving the scene of a deadly accident.

    Personally, I say off with his head!


    i would guess he was just scared at the moment it happen & did not know what to do & he was not able to think clearly . i have notice that a lot of older people like him get scared real easy . this is just my guess but he turned himself in & that shows that once he had time to think he did the right thing.

    At least he had the conscious to turn himself in the following day. Can’t say that about most hit-and-run drivers.
