Ducks Acquire Caputi From Maple Leafs

TORONTO (AP) — The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded Luca Caputi to the Anaheim Ducks for forward Nicolas Deschamps.

The swap of minor league players came Tuesday.

The 21-year-old Deschamps had five goals in 35 games for Syracuse of the American Hockey League. Caputi had two goals for the AHL team in Toronto.

The Leafs also recalled defenseman Korbinian Holzer from their AHL team and assigned forward Philippe Dupuis to the club.
