KNX 1070′s Jon Baird reports.

Hundreds of thousands of spectators spent a chilly Sunday night on the pavement along Colorado Boulevard, waiting for the parade to start.

The crowds warmed up as Monday's temperatures rose beyond the 80 degree mark.

Most parade goers seemed to think fighting crowds of around 70,000 people, braving the cold, and waiting in long lines to use the port-a-potty was well worth it.

"It was really uncomfortable but totally awesome," said one happy parade fan. "It was fantastic."
