A 57-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and an 11-year-old girl was shot in the foot. The man and girl were taken to hospitals, where they were listed in stable condition.

Police were looking for a gunman in a gray car.

Faden said the shooting could have been gang-related but the 18-year-old man’s family insists he wasn’t in a gang.

The victim had just started college and his family said he “loved playing football.”
