HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — One hundred firefighters are battling a blaze inside a vacant two-story apartment building in Hollywood.
Authorities were not prepared to say if the blaze is related to a string of arsons plaguing the Hollywood and West Hollywood area.
Erik Scott, spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department, said it was “too early to tell” what caused the blaze.
He did say the firefighters had it handled and the fire was not expected to reach adjoining properties.
The building is located at 1700 N. Gramercy Place.
