14 Hurt - 2 Seriously - In Parking Structure Crash At Pechanga Resort And Casino

TEMECULA (CBS) — A collision in a parking structure between a passenger vehicle and a shuttle at the Pechanga Resort and Casino tonight resulted in 14 injuries, two of them major, a Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman said.

The crash was reported at 8:04 p.m., Riverside Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said. County firefighters responded with Pechanga firefighters, Pechanga Department of Public Safety Officers and eight ambulances.

Among the 14 patients, two suffered major injuries and two had moderate injuries, Hagemann said. All were transported by ground to hospitals for treatment.

The California Highway Patrol, Border Division was investigating.
