Woman, 29, Surrenders In Garden Grove Hit-And-Run Crash

GARDEN GROVE (CBS) — Police say a 29-year-old Santa Ana woman has surrendered in connection with a hit-and-run crash.

Guadalupe Quinonez reportedly told authorities that she struck a man who was crossing the street at West Street and Acacia Avenue on Wednesday night.

The victim, 54-year-old Gregory Martin, remains hospitalized.

Investigators say Quinonez left the scene with her 7-year-old daughter and drove to her home in Santa Ana, where she left the girl with an acquaintance.

She has been booked into the Orange County jail on charges that include felony hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.
