Police: Suspects Kicked Female Clerk, 57, Stole Cash, Beer In Riverside Robbery

RIVERSIDE (CBS) — Police on Thursday sought the public’s help in finding two men suspected of robbing a convenience store in Riverside.

Police received a report of an armed robbery at approximately 2:30 a.m. on November 20 at a Circle K store located at 3223 Interchange in Riverside.

The first suspect apparently had the store clerk unlock the door to let him into the store. After walking around the store for a short period of time, the suspect then walked back to the door and unlocked it.

A second suspect wearing a mask and armed with a handgun then entered the store.

The 57-year-old female clerk was ordered to lay on the ground after the first suspect kicked her at least once.

The suspects took the clerk’s personal property, cash from the store register and beer and then fled the scene.

The suspects were not seen getting into a vehicle when they left, police said.

This is a tarigc event and I cannot even imagine the trauma to Lara Logan.While she likely has no option but to sue CBS, the network had no choice regarding her covering the story. If CBS had denied her going to Egypt, they'd be subject to a discrimination complaint.Sadly, this is a lose-lose-lose.

She unlocked the door for him? Sounds like she knew him. Perhaps he’s a regular customer of that store.

No matter, I hope that when they catch these two they give them the same treatment they gave her!

I agree with Justin. I lnetsied to Jay for four years in Boston and he is not a closet liberal or anything close to it. He called Hilary Clinton a “pig” and a “b*tch” so many times I lost count. On Bush he was hot and cold, at one point calling for his impeachment for support McCain-Feingold and then supporting him fully on national security issues.He can be a little disingenious like when he talked about how much he hated Hannity until Hannity was being broadcasr on WTKK and he changed his tune.I thought he was entertaining and I enjoyed the rants despite his numerous ethical shortcomings.
