Transient Found Fatally Stabbed Along Santa Ana River Trail
ANAHEIM (CBS) — Police in Anaheim Wednesday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal stabbing of a middle-aged man along the Santa Ana River Trail.

The Orange County Register reported that the discovery was reported to the Anaheim Police Department about 6:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The deceased was found east of Tustin Avenue and west of the Riverside (91) Freeway, Sgt. Bob Dunn told the newspaper.
The victim, according to police, is believed to be a male transient.
Police plan to also investigate whether Wednesday's attack is at all related to another stabbing involving a transient that occurred last week in Placentia, Dunn added.
