ANAHEIM (CBS) — An unidentified glitch with the fireworks display system at Disneyland has left the skies over Anaheim dark for the fifth straight night this week.

KNX 1070’s Mike Landa reports there were no colorful explosions over Sleeping Beauty’s castle once again on Tuesday night.

A Disneyland Resort spokesperson said the decision on whether to have fireworks at the park is being made on a day-to-day basis.

The spectacular display called “Believe in Holiday Magic” has been canceled every night – except Christmas – since last Thursday over reported technical problems.

That same night, a Disney employee was reportedly hospitalized for a noise-related injury that resulted from operating the fireworks, the OC Register reported.

Officials with Cal Osha said state investigators will be at the Magic Kingdom on Wednesday.
