Man Wanted For Allegedly Assaulting Female Martial Arts Students

APPLE VALLEY (CBS) — Authorities are searching for the owner of a mixed martial arts business accused of sexually assaulting several teenage students.

Umar Love, 30,  is wanted on charges of sexual assault and lewd acts with a child, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officials said.

Authorities began investigating Love on Dec. 12 after a 14-year-old girl told deputies that he had touched her inappropriately on numerous occasions.

Love was arrested on Dec. 14 and was released from custody after posting bail that day, officials said.

As detectives continued their investigation, they identified six known female victims, ranging in age from 14 to 16-years-old.

Detectives determined that the assaults occurred at Love’s business, Evolved Martial Arts, in Apple Valley.

Authorities tried to serve a search warrant on Dec. 22 at Love’s Apple Valley home. Love was not there and has not been seen since. Officials believe he is with his girlfriend, 24-year-old Suzann Angel.

Officials say the couple is driving a 2001 green BMW 325i with a California license plate of 4SYK536.
