Woman, 90, Dies In Fire At Senior Living Home
LAKE VIEW TERRACE (CBS) — A 91-year-old woman died in a fire on Christmas Day in Lake View Terrace, a city fire official reported.
The fire ignited Sunday morning in a senior living facility at 11060 N. Norris Ave. near Van Nuys Boulevard, according to Matt Spence of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"The investigation deemed the fire accidental with the most probable cause being candles igniting the victim's clothing," Spence said.
An investigation was continuing.
