LOS ANGELES (AP) — Christmas Day is expected to bring warm temperatures to the Los Angeles area, with highs in the 70s and lower 80s in some parts, while other areas stay cool.
The National Weather Service says cool temperatures that dip into the 40s overnight will give way to sunshine and beach weather in some parts of Los Angeles County.
Inland valleys will continue to experience cold temperatures, including parts of San Bernardino, Riverside, the Kern County desert and Indian Wells Valley.
A frost advisory was in effect for colder, wind-sheltered parts of the coast and valleys from Orange County to San Diego County through 9 a.m. Sunday.
