Deputies Search For Leads In Shooting That Left 4 Injured

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Authorities say they currently have no leads in a drive-by shooting that left four people injured in the area of Florence and Firestone.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Bruce Waldo told the Los Angeles Times that the attack in the 9500 block of Parmelee Avenue occurred about 12:35 a.m. Sunday.

The four victims, who suffered non-life threatening wounds, were apparently leaving a party at a residence when gunfire rang out.

A watch commander for Los Angeles County told the CBS2/KCAL9 Assignment Desk that it's not known if the shooting was at all gang-related.

The victims reportedly did not see those responsible for the attack, the Times reported.

No other information was immediately available.
