Southern California Edison Employees Return To Work After Deadly Shooting

IRWINDALE (CBS) — Southern California Edison workers are returning to their jobs Tuesday for the first time since last Friday's shooting.

Investigators say Andre Turner, an employee who was reprimanded earlier in the day, fatally shot two supervisors and wounded two other employees.

Henry Serrano, 56, of Walnut, and 53-year-old Robert Lindsay of Chino were both killed, according to Lt. Larry Dietz of the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Lindsay, a manager in the IT division, worked for the company for 29 years, SCE executives said. Serrano, who was a manager in the same area, had been with the company for 26 years.

Hundreds of employees gathered Sunday for a vigil outside the building housing SCE's Irwindale offices.

Turner reportedly learned he was going to lose his home days before the shooting. Workers had also been told that layoffs are imminent.
