FBI Searches For Laguna Hills Bank Robbery Suspect

LAGUNA HILLS (CBS) — The FBI is searching for an alleged armed robber who held up a Chase Bank branch Tuesday in Laguna Hills.

Around 4:45 PM the suspect approached a teller carrying a plastic bag. He said, "I'm here to make a deposit." But the note he handed the teller told a different story. It read, "Give me the cash in your drawer. I have a gun, large bills."

The suspect told the teller to "give me the money quickly."

The Chase branch is located on the 24000 block of El Toro Road, near paseo Del Valencia.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, age 25 to 30. He is approximately 5-foot-ten to six-feet tall, with blond curly shoulder length hair. The man was unshaven, and wore black sunglasses, a raincoat, and a dark green baseball cap.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to contact authorities.
