AirTran To Offer Flights From Orange County To Cabo, Mexico City

SANTA ANA (CBS) — AirTran Airways has announced that it will begin flying to Cabo San Lucas and Mexico City from Orange County's John Wayne Airport next year.

Beginning June 3, the airline, a subsidiary of Southwest, will offer once-daily flights to both destinations.

The announcement comes after the Orange County Board of Supervisors approved a $300,000 annual rental discount for each foreign destination utilizing Terminal C.
