Man Fatally Shot Near Marijuana Dispensary In Leimert Park

LEIMERT PARK (CBS) — A man in his 30s was found shot to death near a marijuana dispensary in the Leimert Park-area.

The shooting in the 4200 block of South Crenshaw Boulevard was reported to police about 10:10 a.m., said Los Angeles police officer Rosario Herrera.

According to Herrara, the victim was shot in the chest.

A watch commander at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest station said it not clear if the marijuana outlet was involved, adding that the shooting location is in a busy commercial district.

No other information was immediately made available.

What an asinine headline,….even the article states that the Med Weed Dispensary had nothing to do with the shooting or that it was “unknown” if they were connected,….!

It feels like it is 1932 and we have to listen to the idiots declaring the horrors of “The Evil Weed”,…

…what a terrible article and an embarrassment to the paper/writer who was forced to write something so stupid and attach their poor name to it!!!!

RJ was right. Maybe the shooting was connected to the beauty supply store nearby or the local liquor store.

There are so many Medical Marijuana Dispensaries in Los Angeles, it’s hard to get shot and not be near one.
