Police Break Up 'Girls Gone Wild' Shoot In Hollywood Hills

HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — An apparent photo shoot for "Girls Gone Wild" was broken up by police Tuesday afternoon in the Hollywood Hills.

LAPD officers responded to a home in the 7900 block of Vulcan Drive around 3:30 p.m. after neighbors called with complaints of a public nuisance.

"An unidentified man was cited and released on a misdemeanor charge of commercial filming without a permit," said Officer Bruce Borihanh.

Borihanh said filming on sound stages does not require city permits, but commercial filming at a private home is another matter because of complaints about parking and other related issues.

According to Borihanh, the home had been the subject of neighbor complaints for some time. It has reportedly been rented by a man who sublets it for film shoots.
