LAPD Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing In Woodland Hills

WOODLAND HILLS (CBS) — An LAPD helicopter made an emergency landing Monday on a football field at Pierce College.

According to Officer Cleon Joseph, the helicopter landed at the school around 1:37 p.m. at 6201 Winnetka Ave. in Woodland Hills.

No injuries were reported.

The reason for the landing remained under investigation.

    What’s the rule here? Do you mark the copter down at its nose, or at the tip of the rotor blade? Either way, it’s really hard to kick a field goal with a helicopter.
