LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A youth center in Ramona Gardens has been robbed of its resources after being targeted by vandals twice in one week.

A Legacy LA spokesperson said that thieves broke into their center at the Hazard Park Armory, on the 1300 block of San Pablo Street, twice last week.

They made off with two computers, a camera, projector and several Kindles.

The thieves also caused extensive damage to the property, throwing paint around the facility and vandalizing furniture.

Employees say the burglaries have made it even harder to serve the community.

Legacy LA is an organization that strives to make offer positive alternatives to gangs and violence to the young residents in the Ramona Gardens community.
