Former Reality TV Contestant Acquitted In Death Of His Porn Star Girlfriend

PASADENA (CBS)  — A onetime contestant on the 2000 Fox TV show "The Sexiest Bachelor In America" was acquitted Friday in the September 2009 death of his31-year-old actress girlfriend in her Monrovia apartment.

The Pasadena Superior Court jury deliberated about two days before acquitting Brian Lee Randone, 47, of murder and torture in the Sept. 11, 2009, death of Felicia Lee.

The 31-year-old Singapore-born actress-model went by the stage name Felicia Tang and had appeared in several movies, including "Rush Hour 2" and "The Fast And The Furious." Tang also appeared in several porn flicks including "Hotel Decadence" and "Asian Fever." Tang also appeared on several pin-up calendars.

Randone -- a self-proclaimed preacher -- was ordered to be immediately released from custody.

He had been jailed since his Sept. 11, 2009, arrest by Monrovia police.

The prosecution contended that Randone had severely beaten and suffocated the woman, while the defense alleged that she died from an overdose of the drug GHB.

Deputy District Attorney Phil Wojdak said he was "very disappointed" with the verdict.

Randone's attorney could not be reached for immediate comment.
