NORWALK (CBS) — A man was killed Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash on the 605 Freeway.

The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. south of Imperial Highway, CHP officials said.

All northbound lanes of the 605 Freeway were closed for an investigation.

The victim, identified late Thursday as 40-year-old Abraham Casanova, died at the scene.

The CHP reopened all lanes of the 605 around 8 a.m.

No arrests have been made.

    So sad how life is so cheap, people can kill someone and drive away. God be with his family.

    We live in such a cowardly society. Its too bad I dont believe in Karma. I am endlessly amazed at how many hit and runs there are. My old roommate mildly rear ended someone on the 5 freeway in Burbank years ago. Then a van ran into the back of him. BOTH other cars sped off without dealing with the accident.

    I hope this coward that sped off gets what he deserves some day.
