Blog: Martz Won't Be Heading To UCLA
BRAD GOLD (CBS) -- How many times have we read this, "Mike Martz is a strong candidate at UCLA and Arizona State"
or "Mike Martz is being linked to openings at UCLA and ASU. "
I've seen some kind of version of this 'story' on at least three different occasions on the ESPN ticker.
Truth of the matter, he has contacted those schools, but both universities have said 'no thanks.'
So there is no need for the Bruins fan base to get bent out of shape about the possibility of 'Martz-Ball' at UCLA.
You should eliminate Martz from UCLA right now, along with Chris Petersen and Kevin Sumlin. Just keep an eye out for Jim Mora Jr.
