Cyber Monday Is Over But Continue Finding Fab Online Deals At Savings.Com? This is a good way to buy stuff VS. walking into the stores in person. You still have time to shop online. I shop online with the use of any one of my credit cards and usually you can save a bunch of money this way if you are a savvy shopper like me. Plus it beats driving and you save time and money on gas and traveling and you don’t have to bother waiting in lines, the websites , most or all that have known names and solid updated links with 1800 numbers for help on demand are safe to swipe your credit cards on, but don’t take anyone’s word on that, make sure you checkout the website you are buying from that their are still updated and in business because a lot of the department store chains with big business names don’t even have websites, there is one website with their name, a corporate one and it usually isn’t joined to the stores you walk in to. They are in fact, a different company license and run off of the same corporation, a sub corp. But all this means is you might of bought a gift card from a walk in store location and try to check your balance online and it comes up with a zero balance when you NEVER even used the Gift card? That is because online their website falls under this category, the walk in stores are a different data base than the ones online so their don’t share information . So if you buy a gift-card online and try to walk in and use it inside a store on the streets it might have a zero balance and they won’t accept it. You would have to use it online instead or visa verse. In the walk in department store, but when you buy a gift-card, make sure the clerk tells you if you can use the card online or offline. I shopped Guitar Center, online the Gift card rendered a zero balance. But when I walked into the store, it had it’s balance it was suppose to have. So the online didn’t have record of my balance. That isn’t my fault. Some people run a scam on people by buying their gift cards up and advertise to buy them , from inside classifieds in the paper. When they check their balance, online, knowing it will show a false readout zero balance, they take the seller for the card for a few dollars 3 to $5 and they sell them the card they are shown is empty online while in the store it is full and if you tried to check the balance on the phone number that is on the back of the card, it tells you the same results as online would. So if you bought it in the store walking in? You are going to get a fake phone call reading.
