58-Year-Old Man Killed In Carson Hit-And-Run Crash
CARSON (CBS) — A 58-year-old man was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in Carson, a coroner's lieutenant said Sunday.
The Saturday evening accident took place in the 22000 block of Main Street near the intersection of Main and Jay streets.
Coroner's Lt. Fred Corral said the victim, identified as Papaivai Masaga of Carson, was declared dead at the scene at 10:10 p.m.
Sheriff's deputies were investigating the death but did not disclose any information about the suspect's vehicle.
