Missing Murrieta Woman Found Dead In Motel Pool In Lake Elsinore

LAKE ELSINORE (CBS) — A 26-year-old woman from Murrieta, who had been missing since November 19, was found dead in a Lake Elsinore motel pool, the sheriff's department reported Saturday.

Nicole Lambert Cruz, who had been living with her grandfather in Murrieta when she went missing, was found dead on Thursday, according to the sheriff's report.

The sheriff's department received the call at 11:55 a.m. Thursday, according to a sheriff's deputy.

The deputy would only confirm that the woman was found dead in the pool and that the cause of death was unknown, pending an autopsy and toxicology report.

The investigation was ongoing, he said.
