Does anyone suspect alcohol or drugs MAY have been the cause? Naa just my suspicious mind.

First, let me say that this story is totally incorrect. He was not drunk, but tired after working a hard day on the job while many had the day off. He feel asleep near a chimenea. There was no fire pit. The fire spit burning embers on his pant leg which woke him up. He put the flames out with dirt and his hands. He suffered burns to the lower left leg and both hands. I drove him to Temecula and while enroute I called 911. We met the paramedics at Butterfield Station Rd and the 79 south in Temecula behind the CVS. He was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional from there. I wish the media would get the correct facts!
