STUDIO CITY (CBS) — Chef Azmin Ghahreman, founder of Sapphire Laguna restaurant in Laguna Beach, stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to show us how to add a gourmet twist to the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

He said incorporating peak fall ingredients, such as pumpkin and squash, to your traditional treats will add zest to the meal and appetizers!

Gourmet Suggestions:

· Cranberry-orange relish

· Fruit and nut stuffing or mushroom stuffing

· Crust your prime rib with rosemary and sea salt

· Thanksgiving appetizer: Warm Butternut Squash and Goat Cheese Tart
