Bieber Takes DNA Test, Is Reportedly Planning To Sue Mariah Yeater

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Justin Bieber took a DNA test in New Jersey last Friday, according to TMZ.

Bieber is now reportedly waiting for 20-year-old Mariah Yeater to submit her baby's DNA results so he can file a lawsuit against her and her lawyers for abuse of the legal process.

Yeater filed a paternity suit against the pop star, who she says fathered her baby, earlier this month. It has since been dropped.

Last week, TMZ unveiled text messages from Yeater asking a friend to erase all messages from her own mother, in which a young man other than Bieber is referred to as the child's father.

"Pleeease ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says Tristyn is Robbies Son."

She goes on to talk about giving the man money if he cooperates.

"Ill kick u when we get paid im trusting you pleeease," she writes.

"This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story," Bieber's attorney Howard Weitzman told TMZ. "Our independent investigation indicates Ms. Yeater never met Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child's father, and Ms. Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media."

"There have been no settlement discussions and there never will be," he adds.
