Man, 29, Reported Missing In Angeles National Forest

ARCADIA (CBS) — A 29-year-old man is missing in the Angeles National Forest near Arcadia, and search and rescue officials sought the public's help in locating him.

Matthew Hernandez was last seen at about 6 p.m. Saturday near Chantry Flats, according to deputies at the Temple sheriff's station.

Officials said it is possible the missing man hitched a ride back to his San Dimas home, but he has not been in contact with his friends or family.

Hernandez is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green shirt, a denim vest and black pants.
