LONG BEACH (CBS) — A Long Beach Transit “Passport” bus was struck by a bullet while en route to the Queen Mary.

Long Beach police spokeswoman Nancy Pratt said no one was hurt in the incident, which occurred about 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Queen’s Highway had been closed while authorities searched for evidence, Pratt reported. No arrests have been made.

It’s gotten so bad in Downtown L.B. that I stopped going down there two years ago. The last time I was down there I was transfering to the number 12 bus and all I saw was bums everywhere. I never saw any L.B.P.D. officer or squad car.
