The suspect has targeted ATMs in Claremont, Diamond Bar and Rancho Cucamonga, police said.

Over a three-day period beginning Oct. 16, the suspect — armed with a semiautomatic handgun — approached customers using ATM machines between 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m., police said.

"It appears to be the same suspect in all three cases, same type of clothing, appears to be the same in all the surveillance videos," Claremont Police Detective Rick Varney said.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic between 20 and 25 years old, 5'6" tall and approximately 170 pounds, black hair and seen wearing white tennis shoes, black sweat pants, and a blue/white checkered hooded
sweatshirt.

Customers in the area are urged to use caution when patronizing any local ATMs after business hours.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is urged to call the Claremont Police Department Detective Bureau at (909) 399-5420 or (909) 399-5411.
