LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police and the California Highway Patrol were involved in a high speed chase through east Los Angeles Thursday morning.

The pursuit of a stolen vehicle suspect began just before 10 a.m.

The chase ended around 10:30 a.m. when a CHP vehicle hit the suspect’s car. The male suspect surrendered peacefully and was arrested by officers.
