2 Men Arrested For Harassing Children On Orange County Buses

ANAHEIM (CBS) — Authorities have arrested two men for child annoyance after they harassed at least two children on Orange County buses.

Keith Froman, 48, was arrested on Nov. 9 on allegations that he approached a boy riding an Orange County Transportation Authority bus and made lewd remarks involving sex and drugs.

Investigators used Froman's "bus pass to trace his movements along bus routes and to locate security film of his activities on the buses, "Orange County Sheriff's officials said in a press release.

Froman is being held in the Orange County Jail on $10,000 bail.

In an unrelated incident, 44-year-old Martin Aguilar was arrested on Nov. 4 for stalking and child annoyance of a girl under the age of 14.

Authorities say Aguilar approached the girl on an OCTA bus and asked her questions, becoming more aggressive over time, the press release said.

"On one occasion the 44-year old suspect presented the child victim with a white rose."

Aguilar pleaded guilty to child annoyance and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, plus three years probation.
