Pac-12 South May Have 3 New Coaches Next Year

(CBS) -- Midway through the 3rd quarter when Arizona State was leading Oregon, and the Ducks were down to a backup QB and LMJ was hurt, it was looking like the Sun Devils were not only going to take the South division by a landslide, but we're serious contenders for the Rose Bowl...

But since that soaking Mid-October night in Eugene, ASU has lost three of their last four, with their only win coming at home against the Colorado Buffaloes.

Dennis Erickson's job is on life support in Tempe, even if ASU wins their final two home games against Arizona and CAL, the damage appears to be done and Erickson is probably gone after this season. (Barring a Rose Bowl berth).

Replacements: Ed Orgeron (USC), Ron English (EMU), Mike Bellotti (UO), Paul Chryst (Wisc), Jack Del Rio?
Rich Rodriguez.

About 100 miles away on I-10 in Tucson, the Arizona Wildcats have already fired Mike Stoops.

Arizona has the jump on their conference rivals in the coaching search, and it appears there is strong mutual interest with the Wildcats and former Oregon coach Mike Bellotti.

How about UCLA?   They are two wins away from clinching the South's berth in the conference title game, but they will have to beat Colorado and USC. Would that be enough to save Neuheisel?

Upsetting Oregon(most likely opponent)  in Eugene to get to the Rose Bowl would certainly save his job at this point.. But UCLA did just get crushed in Salt Lake City.

Replacements: Al Golden (The U), DeWayne Walker (NMSU), Mike Leach, Jack Del Rio (Jags), Rich Rodriguez, Gus Malzahn (Auburn).
