Man Shot And Killed Outside Liquor Store In Winnetka
WINNETKA (CBS) — A man in his 40s was shot and killed Thursday during an argument in front of a liquor store in Winnetka.
The victim was arguing with a man who pulled out a handgun and shot him once in the chest, before fleeing on foot. Paramedics rushed the victim to Northridge Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 7:40 p.m, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Bruce Borihanh said.
The suspect was described as a bald man about 34 years old who was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans, Borihanh said. The suspect's height and weight description were not available.
The shooting occurred about 5:40 p.m. near Corbin Avenue and Sherman Way, Borihanh said.
