FBI Offers $20K Reward For Information Leading To 'Geezer Bandit'
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The FBI is now offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the "Geezer Bandit".
The suspect's latest heist was at a Wells Fargo bank branch in La Jolla on Sept. 30.
Investigators say he robbed his first bank in 2009 and has hit more than a dozen banks since then.
The bandit is described as 60 to 70 years old. He often wears a navy blazer and baseball cap with dark pants.
Most of the banks he's targeted are in San Diego County.
