Zubek — a former member of the "Hole In The Wall" robbery gang from Canyon Country who was convicted in several robberies in the early 1990s — was in court on charges of assaulting on a peace officer.
The charges stem from his arrest back in August this summer after police said he killed a couple in Chatsworth where he rented a room and stuffed their bodies into trash bins.
Zubek managed to elude capture for two weeks by donning various disguises, including a wig with dreadlocks.
Police have yet to officially charge Zubek with the double murder. The arraignment has been postponed until Dec. 9 at the request of public defender Mitch Barkner.
