(CBS) -- Sell in the $400 millions and buy it back for $1 billion?

That would be the case if FOX gets back the Dodgers, if they submit the winning bid in auction.

Dodger fans aren’t sure if that would be better than having Frank McCourt, during the time of Fox ownership, the Dodgers franchise didn’t win a playoff game, traded Mike Piazza, and gave a huge contract to Kevin Brown, one of the worst contracts in team history.

But Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times is confirming that FOX is not interested in buying the Dodgers at this time.
