I have been in a 12 step program for years and years- the ones who LUCKILY make it there have stories of that culture that are frightening. The families are dysfunctional in the extreme. The men ALWAYS drink and are the ‘Alpha male’ in them! They are the most obnoxious and violent when drunk. Ticking time bombs all..
