Firefighters Uncover Pot-Growing Operation In NoHo

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBS) — Authorities say they have uncovered a major marijuana-growing operation after putting out a blaze at a North Hollywood commercial building.

It took firefighters 22 minutes to extinguish the blaze, which broke out just after midnight Saturday, in the 7400 block of Bellaire Avenue near Saticoy Street.

A Los Angeles police officer at the North Hollywood Station was unaware of any arrests.

According to police, hundreds of pot plants were found at the location.
