LOS ANGELES (CBS)- Plans were all set for Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and other NBA Stars to play a six-game tour with stops in Puerto Rico, England and Australia, Tuesday.
But a day later LeBron James told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that “not only I won’t be part of NBA world tour but had never committed to [the] project in [the] first place.”
After the Miami report, ESPN.com reports Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul will not participate as well.
Shortly after, Hoopsworld.com reports Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook are scratches too
The only one big-name, according to Yahoo!, to participate is Kevin Durant, for “now.”
If Kevin Durant is the only big-name participating, then it is almost for sure Kobe won’t play.
