Crews Put Out Blaze At Boyle Heights Home With 'Packrat Conditions'
BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBS) — A fire gutted a two-story home described as having "packrat conditions" in Boyle Heights.
The blaze broke out in the 3400 block of Percy Street about 10:25 p.m. Saturday, according to officials.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Matt Spence said the fire was put out 48 minutes later.
According to authorities, a man and a dog were able to escape the fire unharmed.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
