NFL Bid Coming Up Roses? Study Has Pasadena Residents Buzzing
PASADENA (CBS) — The city best known for hosting top-ranked teams in college football could soon be moving up to the pros.
KNX 1070's Pete Demetriou reports Pasadena is set to study the impact of hosting an NFL team for as many as three years.

The Rose Bowl could be an temporary home for any team that would decide to relocate to the Southland while Farmers Field or any other arena would be under construction.
Officials will review data from an assessment of traffic and other issues during the upcoming UCLA-UC Berkeley football game to help come up with a recommendation.
Residents met news of the study with mixed reactions.
"First of all, it's going to help the Pasadena economy, and I live in Pasadena," said one man. "Number two is, I'm a huge pro football fan."
"Parking might be an issue, and I think the partying might be an issue, but I'm an NFL fan, so I'm looking forward to that," another resident said.
Among the biggest concerns for locals: more traffic around the already-congested stadium and more rowdy partiers both before and after the game.
"There's traffic, and then people get crazy and drink," said one woman.
The study on traffic impact will take place later in October, with a final report set to be released by the city and Rose Bowl operating company as early as December.
