Let It Be? Heather Mills' Ex-Hair Stylist, Publicist Sue Her For $248K In Unpaid Bills

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — In two separate lawsuits, the former publicist and ex-hairstylist for Heather Mills, ex-wife of former Beatle Paul McCartney, are suing her for unpaid bills that amount to about $250,000.

In a lawsuit filed this week in Los Angeles federal court, Beverly Hills hairstylist David Miramontes -- professionally known as David Paul -- says he cut and styled Mills' hair about 20 times between 2005 and 2008 but was never paid.

In his suit, the stylist contends that he informed Mills of his daily fees: in-shop $2,500 and out-of-shop $5,000.

He alleges that Mills said she would pay him once her divorce settlement was paid.

Mills reportedly came away from the marriage with $50 million but never settled her bill -- about $80,000 -- Miramontes alleges.

In a lawsuit filed in March, Mills' former publicist, Michele Elyzabeth Blanchard, head of publicity for the firm Parapluie, says Mills didn't pay her for three years of work.

Her lawsuit, also filed in federal court, alleged that Mills availed herself of Blanchard's professional services from 2005 through the summer of 2008 for a $5,000 a month retainer, plus expenses but was never paid. Blanchard says Mills owes her $168,000.

Blanchard also says Mills promised to pay once she received her divorce settlement.

Both suits seek unspecified damages, as well.
