PALMDALE (CBS) — A 15-year-old Littlerock teen was killed when a vehicle he was either a passenger or driver in crashed into a pole near Palmdale, authorities said.

Christopher Povar died at the scene of the crash.

The collision occurred about 10 a.m. Tuesday at Avenue R near 110th Street East, said Lr. Joe Bale of the coroner’s office.

Authorities could not say immediately if the teen was the driver or passenger in the vehicle.
