LA Firm Recalls 377K Pounds Of Ground Beef Over E. Coli Fears
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A Southland meat supplier recalled over 377,000 pounds of ground beef products Tuesday over fears of possible E. coli contamination.
Commercial Meat Co. in Los Angeles will recall all ground beef products sold to restaurants in California and Nevada, the Associated Press reported.
Officials with the U.S. Agriculture Dept. said routine monitoring confirmed a positive test for the bacterial virus.
No illness has been reported so far.
